NFPs Respond to Queensland Floods 12 January 2011 at 3:21 pm As the flood situation in Queensland continues to deteriorate, Not for Profit organisations are calling on the public for support as they prepare to deal with the states worst floods in living memory. Among the big numbers surrounding the 2011 floods in Brisbane and Queensland, the most sorrowful was the death toll. In Queensland, an army of volunteers turned out on the weekend to help flood victims.
With this money rebuilding can start in more than 60 flood-affected communities across Queensland.
